Guestbook

Bryher has an amazing location, on a rise, which means that most of the windows have far reaching sea and countryside views. Very close to a lovely sandy beach there are also many other walks one can access from the property. It takes about 10 minutes to walk along the coastal path to Hugh Town and 5 minutes in the other direction is Juliet's restaurant which can be recommended.
Bryher's hillside garden has been thoughtfully designed and has at least 4 secret seating areas apart from the raised deck solely for Bryher's use. It is chock full of succulents, unusual trees and bushes and although shared with 3 other properties, we seemed to be the only ones strolling through it. A great place for stargazing too.
The accomodation is very well presented, comfortable and stocked with everything you might ever need for self catering, so there was no problem making crumbles from the foraged local blackberries!
We had THE best holiday here and are planning a return for next year.

Mel and John Stride,

Bryher is a fantastic place to stay- especially for those taking their dogs with them. Not only is the accommodation wonderful and spacious, there are lots of little extras provided that make Bryher a bit more homely. It's well located not only for Hugh Town, but for accessing other parts of St Mary's too. I've definitely missed the view from the master bedroom now that I've returned home! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a comfortable and cosy place to stay in Scilly.

Alice,

Our first visit to the Isles of Scilly and "Bryher" provided a bright, spacious and comfortable base from which to acquaint ourselves with these remarkable islands. One of our best holidays and doggy heaven.

Liz Wesson,

We are regular visitors to "Bryher" and have been coming in May for a number of consecutive years. The apartment has all we need - great family accommodation, well furnished and equipped, with a lovely outdoor patio, offering great views across to Tresco. The location is just right for us, about 15 minutes from the facilities and quay at Hugh Town and a lovely walk too. Speros restaurant and Juliet's are even closer, both of which we always enjoy, for the views as well as the food. Another big plus is that we can bring our dog, which can't be said for a lot of the island accommodation. The Off Islands are fantastic too, all different in their own way. We think the Scillies one of the nicest parts of Britain, which is why we keep coming back and "Bryher" is a great base from which to enjoy all the islands have to offer.

Dave & Caron Wise,

Fantastic. 'Bryher' has everything I need on my holiday, spacious, very comfortable. Have stayed here every year since 2007 and the location is great. Just a few minutes away from the fabulous Juliet's Garden and just a 5 minute stroll from Hugh Town. There is lots of information in the house for you to get the most out of your holiday but I would personally recommend the Turks Head on St. Agnes. Dibble and Grub also very good. Thank you to Linda and Peter for another wonderful holiday.
